Unfortunately, we did not get our website up soon enough to celebrate Canada's National Indigenous History Month in June of 2025. However, I heard somewhere that Every Month is Indigenous History Month!
In my opinion this is correct. Indigenous Peoples began to shape this country before the rest of us immigrants showed up. Treaties that have contributed to Canada's growth as a country were signed by First Nations, Metis and Inuit peoples were the first peoples on this land and The over 77 historic treaties are today being addressed by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission. This has lead to the implementation of 27 Modern Treaties so far.
